Spend a day Fishing with Barrier Island EcoTours!
The Charleston SC area offers excellent inshore fishing opportunities year round. Our salt marsh eco-system creates a "nutrient rich soup" which provides the basis of the food chain for many species of fish. The salt marshes surrounding Isle of Palms and neighboring barrier islands are excellent places to catch redfish, trout, flounder, shark and many other species of fish. In the warmer months it is possible to catch over 10 species of fish during one outing. All necessary tackle, licenses and supplies are provided on each trip. Our fleet consists of a 6 passenger 23' Kenner and a 12 passenger 27' Carolina Skiff. We work closely with several of the top guides that also run out of the Isle of Palms Marina and can put together groups of 50 +. Each boat is equipped with Coast Guard certified safety gear. No experience is necessary! Our captains are patient and friendly. We cater to those who want a relaxed fishing trip with plenty of action.
Spring and summer we offer scheduled Creek Fishing trips aboard our 6 passenger boat catered to families and individuals who would like to join a trip without paying for a private charter. If your group happens to be larger than 6 people, you may charter our 12 passenger skiff.
And take a look through our Photo Gallery from our fishing tips.

What a better way to have fun with your fellow co-workers than spending a day on the water fishing and socializing in a relaxed environment. We work closely with some of the best and friendliest fishing guides in the Charleston area to ensure you have a productive and enjoyable experience.
We can accommodate large groups by putting together several 6 passenger bay boats, 3 passenger flats boats, and our 12 passenger skiff. Our guides target whatever is biting at the time but redfish and sea trout are in season all year.
Many groups choose to end the excursion with a shore lunch or dinner on Capers Island Preserve. Fried fish, red rice, and hushpuppies are a favorite. Your group may also choose a low country boil of fresh shrimp, sausage, corn, onions, and potatoes.
After your guides have dropped everyone off on Capers to reunite for fish tales and feasting, the group will cruise back together aboard our 42 passenger boat. The end to a fantastic day on the water!
