Beachside Weddings on Capers Island

You and your guests will enjoy a relaxing boat ride to Capers Island Preserve, along the way catching glimpses of bottlenose dolphin and other wildlife. Once you arrive on Capers, the bone-yard beach is only a short walk around the corner. The ‘bone-yard’ is an amazing setting for a beachside wedding, with an old forest of weathered trees and the ocean serving as the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. After you’ve exchanged your vows, the boats will be waiting with coolers full of drinks of your choice. Tables may be set with hors d’oeuvres, or a steaming Lowcountry Boil may be prepared for your guests. As the sun sets over the salt marsh, you’ll cruise back to Isle of Palms, or continue the festivities with a reception at Goat Island Gatherings.

Bachelor and Bachelorette Boat and Beach Parties
Private boat charters are also a fun alternative for wedding showers and bachelor or bachelorette parties. Choose one of our many water activities such as fishing, crabbing or a nature tour followed by a beachside cookout on Capers Island. We’ll prepare your dinner as you walk the “bone-yard” beach, have a bocce ball tournament, or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery with a cold drink. You may also choose from one of our 6, 16, 19, 35 or 49 passenger boats for a private sunset cocktail cruise to Shem Creek for dinner before heading out for a night on the town with your group.
