Upcoming: Women’s Coastal Skills Workshop Jan 31st!
It’s almost here!!!
Join us on January 31st from 12:30–6:00 PM for our Women’s Coastal Skills: Sea to Table workshop, there are only a few spots left, and we are so excited to host! Departing from Isle of Palms Marina, this hands-on adventure blends coastal education, harvesting skills, and connection as we explore the salt marshes on the way to Capers Island. Participants will learn oyster, clam, and mussel harvesting; knot tying and rod rigging; shrimping and crabbing basics; cast-netting; fish filleting; and enjoy a guided nature walk before cooking a fresh seafood feast on the beach.
We’re thrilled to partner with Golden Girls Outdoors, with founder Courtney leading an empowering boating-confidence session on navigation, driving, and anchoring. We can’t wait to welcome our participants and are looking forward to an unforgettable day together on the water, capped off with a sunset cruise back to the marina. If you didn’t get a chance to sign up, don’t worry, we’ll be hosting another Women’s Coastal Skills workshop soon, inspired by your interests!
