Join Pawleys Island Brewing, Barrier Island EcoTours and the South Carolina Aquarium to celebrate Charleston Beer Week with a beach/marsh clean up and Lowcountry boil on Capers Island.

Hop aboard with local Master Naturalist and avian expert, Nicole Marie Pettinelli, from Charleston Bird Club and the naturalists from Barrier Island EcoTours as we explore the tidal flats and inlet sandbars in search of a variety of shore and wading birds, waterfowl and raptors.

Women-led coastal workshop on Jan 31 featuring boating, oyster harvesting, fishing instruction, cast netting, shrimping, crabbing, boat driving basics, navigation, beach anchoring, open-fire cooking, and a nature walk on Capers Island—ending with a sunset cruise. Bring snacks, layers, and gloves for oyster gathering.

Waterway eco-cruise with cleanup between Isle of Palms and Capers Island, guided by a naturalist. One-hour litter removal on shell banks/marsh hammocks, followed by a beachside Lowcountry boil and sunset return. Wear long pants and muddy shoes; bring water/food/BOBY. Proceeds support SC Aquarium conservation.
